IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa men’s basketball team held its annual team banquet on Thursday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

Redshirt freshman forward Nicholas Baer and true freshman wing player Isaiah Moss both met with reporters before the banquet.

Baer talked about recently earning a scholarship, while Moss talked about how he benefited from being redshirted this past season.

Baer said the first thing he did after learning that he would be put on scholarship was call his mother.
