IOWA CITY, Iowa – Fran McCaffery enters his seventh season as the Iowa men's basketball coach with a roster in transition.

Shooting guard Peter Jok is the only returning starter from last season's team and one of just two seniors on the team.

Outside expectations aren't nearly as high as they were last season after losing four starters, including all-America forward Jarrod Uthoff. But McCaffery still expressed optimism at media day on Wednesday.

Iowa is trying to make the NCAA Tournament for a fourth consecutive season under McCaffery.
